Education and Early Years
T-Level Education and Early Years (Assisting Teaching)
The T Level in Education and Early Years is ideal for students who are passionate about supporting children and young people to learn, develop, and achieve their potential. The course provides a strong understanding of child development, inclusive practice, safeguarding, special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and the role of education professionals within schools and other educational settings. Students explore how children learn, the factors that can influence development, and the strategies used by practitioners to support positive educational outcomes. They develop valuable communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills while gaining insight into the responsibilities involved in helping learners thrive.
This qualification provides an excellent foundation for progression into careers such as teaching assistance, learning support, early years education, pastoral support, and other education-related roles, as well as higher education and apprenticeship opportunities within the education sector.
